Surprisingly, not every device is able to play the wildly popular Angry Birds game. The Blackberry Playbook is one of those devices but not for much longer. The creators of Angry Birds have announced that Angry Birds will be available for the Blackberry Playbook tablet in summer 2011 which is only a matter of weeks/months away.

The game, which features birds destroying the pigs which stole their eggs with the help of a slingshot, is developed by Rovio, which plans to list on the Nasdaq within five years.

… the biggest news out of the BlackBerry World Conference may be today's confirmation from co-CEO Mike Lazaridas that Rovio is bringing Angry Birds to the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. No word on a specific launch date, but expect it to land sometime this summer.
